Account Deletion

How to delete your NutraSoft account, and what happens to your data when you do.

Overview

The NutraSoft mobile application is a companion tool for users with an existing NutraSoft ERP license. User accounts are created and managed by your organization's license administrator on the NutraSoft web platform — there is no self-service sign-up inside the mobile app.

Because accounts are tied to a business license, deletion requests are processed by your license administrator or by our support team. This page describes how to request deletion and what data we remove or retain.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your NutraSoft account in either of the following ways:

Option 1 — Contact your License Administrator

If your NutraSoft account was provisioned by your employer or organization, contact the license administrator for that account. They can deactivate or delete your user record directly from the NutraSoft web platform.

Option 2 — Email NutraSoft Support

Send an email to support@nutrasoft.ca from the email address associated with your NutraSoft account. Use the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include your full name and the company / license your account belongs to. We will verify your identity, confirm the request with the license administrator, and process the deletion within 30 days.

What is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize the following:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your user profile, preferences, and saved settings
  • Your authentication credentials and session tokens
  • Voice transcripts and AI assistant interactions generated under your account

What is Retained

Some records linked to your account may be retained after deletion. This is required to preserve the integrity of business and regulatory records that other users in your organization still depend on:

  • Production, inventory, shipping, and quality-control records you created — these remain in your organization's account and are required by food-manufacturing traceability and recordkeeping regulations.
  • Aggregated, de-identified usage data used to improve our services.
  • Records we are legally required to retain (e.g. financial, tax, or audit records) for the duration mandated by applicable Canadian and provincial law.

Records retained for these reasons no longer identify you personally and are not used to contact you.

Data Stored on Your Device

Uninstalling the app from your phone removes all locally-stored data, including your session token (stored in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore). No additional steps are required to clear data from your own device.

Timeline

We acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of verification, except where a longer retention period is required by law.
