Each ingredient's nutrient values are scaled to its weight, added up and divided by the number of servings. The totals then go into the format your market requires, a US FDA panel or a bilingual Canadian table.

The sample label builder on this page shows that calculation with a small set of common ingredients. For a label you'll print, NutraSoft calculates from full ingredient databases (USDA FoodData Central and the Canadian Nutrient File) or your supplier data, and you should still check the serving size against the reference amounts for your product category.
